mono.gramm a/w 2011

Fashion Lookbook / 2010 / Berlin
Commissioned by mono.gramm / Berlin
Hair & Makeup / Julie Skok
Models / Helena Hoppe / Mega / Pepa Pasatu / M4

The mono.gramm collection for Autmn/Winter 2011 explores the juxtaposition of identity and versatility: A long-sleeve dress turns lightheartedly into short-sleeve where the sleeves function as an improvised belt. A neckline shifts to reveal the shoulder. A wrap dress tied in many different ways. And thus a collection which can be worn and styled in many ways and shapes, to emphasize specific aspects of your identity.

mono.position #04: Diaries

For ten years now, I have been running my photography studio mono.graphie while also publishing the interview magazine mono.kultur for the past six years, and, since 2009, being involved in the womenswear label mono.gramm.

When Palette Gallery in Tokyo invited me to show recent work, I thought it might be a good opportunity to present all three projects side by side, to showcase how they are related and feed off each other. With a focus on personal and editorial work in my photography, it will be an experiment to examine the outcome of a similar approach to three different media.

An unusual biography for an unusual pop star to come: A few years ago, Swiss crooner Dagobert Jaeger was still homeless on the streets of Zurich. Fast forward to 2012, which, if everything goes according to plan, will be the breakthrough for Dagobert, the crooner to introduce German Schlager to the dancefloor.
